Social Media & Content Manager

Due to our exponential brand growth, we’re looking for an experienced and creative SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER to create innovative and engaging content strategies across our multiple social media channels, scaling our followers and social revenue quickly and effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Aggressively grow our organic social channels (growth in followers, social traffic and social revenue) with the assistance of hands-on designers. 
  • Create exciting, innovative content strategies and plans, being at the very heart of the latest culture and trends emerging online. You will be able to strategically leverage ambassador, influencer and consumer UGC to attract new audiences and engage our existing social followers to drive revenue.
  • Create the social media content strategy in line with the brand aesthetics across multiple channels including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest and Snapchat.
  • Managing the social content schedule across multiple social platforms.
  • Manage our digital content library, ensuring all content is updated correctly.
  • Strategise, plan and manage giveaways/competitions and collaborations with influencers and other brands to grow our website traffic/revenue, email database sign-ups, Facebook group members and community consistently.
  • Create an effective, results driven social media strategy and organise the actioning of that strategy directly with our brand marketing manager
  • Act as a subject matter expert and social media personality for our iconic Australian beauty brands.
  • Research new market trends, new technologies, competitor activity and industry best practices across beauty and fashion.
  • Create copy & captions for social posts – with strong written communication skills – great spelling and grammar is essential
  • Must be very comfortable with the social channel interfaces, knowing the ins and outs of Reels, feed posting and IGTVs.
  • Manage product catalogue for Facebook.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience as a social media manager or digital content expert within beauty or fashion – with a proven ability to scale followers, social traffic and revenue.
  • Can adapt their strategy based on data findings to maximise the return of marketing activities.
  • Solid business acumen and experience creating and building content to drive revenue.
  • Proven track record of growing audience following and engagement through the creation of relevant and inspiring content.
  • Ability to identify the latest trends and viral moments and jump on these opportunities as soon as they arise. 
  • Experience working with content creators and influencers.
  • Effective time management, with the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Content Creator

Due to our exponential brand growth, we’re looking for an experienced and creative CONTENT CREATOR who is adept at both shooting and editing still/video content for our social media platforms, digital marketing and e-commerce assets and other required digital assets for both in-house and external use. As a key contributor in executing our content strategy you must possess creative flair and a deep passion for beauty. You must also be willing to evolve your skills and keep up to speed with the ever-changing social media environment.

Responsibilities

  • Photography and creation of exciting content for Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, YouTube & Pinterest
  • Use of Adobe platforms – Photoshop (imagery/graphics) & Premier pro (video editing) to create innovative and engaging content in line with the social media strategy
  • Social media strategy support – coming forth with ideas on how to engage our audiences
  • Management of our MCoBeauty #BSFreeBeauty Facebook group (over 1900 members)
  • Turn influencer user generated content into social creatives for our channels
  • Design and create stills, gifs and videos
  • Community management
  • Shoot and retouch products for website launch
  • Create How To’s, GRWM’s, Satisfying/Texture videos
  • Create IGTV’s, Reels, Tik Toks for both brands – jumping on top of trends/challenges as soon as they emerge

Digital & Graphic Designer

You will be hands-on and responsible for creating various design projects across all areas of the business, including web banner design and updates, EDM’s, social media content design, video editing, presentations, advertorials, POS and marketing collateral and innovative product packaging. You will have proven ability to multi-task and deliver quickly and accurately on each brief.

Responsibilities

  • Creating various designs projects across all areas of the business
  • Maintain the brands style guidelines and ensure the aesthetic for each product category is amplified
  • Designing print media campaigns for advertorials and editorials
  • Photography of product flat lays and retouching
  • Video creation and editing
  • Designing event invitations and campaign material
  • Design press releases, product presentations and templates
  • Design social media creative content across all platforms including advertising videos
  • Email marketing artwork/EDM’s
  • Conduct regular website review and design rejuvenation
  • Creating and editing packaging die-lines and experience working with barcodes for major retailers (GS1 compliance)
  • Developing concepts and finished art for packaging
  • Creating logos for new products
  • Conceptualise and design all in-store marketing collateral, shelf displays, POS and floor stands
  • Retouching images, create image composites, create renders and mock-ups of products
  • Ability to plan and manage photo shoots, photography and video/photo editing

Requirements

  • Proven Graphic Design experience in Beauty, Fashion or Lifestyle is essential.
  • Minimum 3 years Graphic Designer experience.
  • Strong demonstrated experience in packaging design, use of die-lines and barcodes.
  • Experience designing to established brand guidelines.
  • Ability to execute a design brief, follow instruction and apply feedback.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, InDesign & Photoshop, etc
  • Able to create content that is on-brand, engaging, and original across digital and social platforms from concept through to shooting (photography and videography preferred), editing and posting
  • Advanced photography and editing/retouching skills.
  • Proficient in HTML and CSS.
  • Video and digital animation capabilities preferable
  • Knowledge of file and colour management for print and web

Paid Social Manager

Responsibilities

  • From strategy to execution, create and implement a highly effective paid social strategy, scaling our account while maintaining a healthy ROAS.
  • Hitting aggressive weekly and monthly KPIs
  • Successfully run campaigns pushing business-as-usual products, as well as one-off/limited edition campaigns
  • Manage advertising creative direction and work directly with the graphic designer/video editor to create high performing campaign & UGC ads
  • Complete data driven daily, weekly and monthly optimisations and weekly/monthly reports
  • Build robust performance measurement framework, implementing ongoing reporting with actionable insights, using this data to optimise and improve social performance
  • Completing effective competitor analysis and adjusting our campaigns to generate the highest market share.
  • Stay on top of industry updates and relevant business impacts, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and adopt new marketing technologies.
  • Implement automated analytics reporting across Paid Social Channels
  • Conduct measurement and analysis on the effectiveness and efficiency of paid marketing programs.
  • Work with online merchandising, operations, and creative teams to ensure paid digital marketing initiatives are "on brand" with the products, promotions, and overall business strategy.


Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of Paid Social marketing experience.
  • Experience in the beauty/fashion/lifestyle industry
  • Proven experience in scaling ad spend profitably.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and manage performance marketing programs to deliver strong ROI.
  • Proven understanding of digital paid media strategies and be able to implement and manage this in-house.
  • Technical expertise in Product Feeds, pixel set up and best practice account setup and management
  • Preferable: Experience with influencer whitelisting
  • Proven experience in measuring and analysing online marketing campaigns.
  • Excellent critical thinking skills effectively weigh the strengths and weaknesses of different solutions and approaches.
