Digital & E-Commerce Manager – ModelCo HQ, Sydney

As the Digital & E-Commerce Manager, you will be responsible for leading the global digital marketing strategy for the business with a focus on brand awareness and conversion. The role requires a proven track record in leading and evolving digital marketing, through innovative technology strategies, engaging content, financial acumen and implementing partnerships across operations, merchandising and marketing.

You will implement digital marketing strategies and e-commerce that align with the customer demographic, ensuring the messaging is effective and successful across all global markets.

Tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest digital trends and technology to drive innovation and stay ahead of competition.
  • Perform appropriate competitive analyses, benchmarking and research to drive solid ROI analysis and recommendations.
  • Define KPIs for omnichannel digital marketing campaigns across and ensure quarterly goals are met.
  • Manage digital marketing P&L, including revenue and margin forecasting and expense budgeting.
  • Develop, implement and maintain standard reports to provide in-depth pre and post campaign analysis and insights.
  • Drive sales, profit and consumer experience metrics of www.modelcocostmetics.com driving execution of strategies, promotions, tactics and campaigns.
  • Manage execution of all web analytics including content, site, traffic and marketing campaign analysis.
  • Manage the growth of omnichannel strategies and execute plans ensuring appropriate infrastructure and consumer experience strategies are in place.
  • Manage the seasonal content and merchandising calendars to ensure freshness, relevancy, consistency and appropriate balance of brand story-telling and commerce.
  • Identify opportunities to drive customer engagement, profitability and growth.
  • Drive performance across a variety of digital marketing campaigns including transactional, acquisition, onboarding, content promotion and reacquisition campaigns, constantly refining communication across the consumer lifecycles.
  • Implement the digital marketing strategies to fulfil revenue and profit plans, changing consumer expectations and market conditions.
  • Digital media planning and management (inclusive of display, mobile, SEM and media partnerships).
  • Support and enhance the customer journey of both brands across all touchpoints and help define content needs.
  • Creating and strategising new digital content including influencer content and how this lives across all business channels.
  • Works to ensure all programme elements move forward on a timely basis with publishers, internal designers and media agencies (including briefs, asset deliveries, legal/claims approval, artwork proofing, QA testing).
  • Meet with media agencies to determine and define digital activity, schedule to support launches and ongoing initiatives. Ensures that all activity reflects the brand’s strategic priorities.
  • By using consumer insights and research, enhance the brand’s digital and CRM strategy and also analyse data collected via these strategies to further consumer knowledge of the brand
  • Manage the timely and successful execution of CRM initiatives from ongoing lifecycle programs (eg. Birthday) to New Product launch programs to maximize Recruit, Retain, Reward opportunities.
  • Roadmap digital developments and improvements.

 

Ideally you will have:

  • Demonstrated ability to develop comprehensive digital marketing & communications plans, and translate them into day-to-day activities.
  • Be creative, organised and ambitious with a true passion for storytelling and community.
  • Proven project management skills, with ability to deliver multiple projects concurrently.
  • Advanced level of critical thinking, with ability to identify issues, provide & implement solutions.
  • Superior leadership skills to support and inspire a high-performing team.

  • Ability to use a variety of web development and graphic design tools (HTML, Adobe suite, Google Analytics, content management systems).

SUPPLY CHAIN & LOGISTICS SPECIALIST - ModelCo HQ, Sydney
ModelCo is Australia's fastest growing beauty brand and is found in beauty mecca's globally. Seventeen years on we still dream big, widely known and loved for innovative, on-trend colour cosmetics, simple-but-smart natural skin care and award-winning self-tanning solutions. Due to significant growth we are seeking a proactive, analytical and solutions-orientated Supply Chain & Logistics Specialist.

This is an extremely busy and varied role, with a primary focus on supporting the overall business in supply chain, end-to-end logistics, stock ordering, day-to-day management of despatch and procurement plans across all brands.

You will be accountable for delivering operational excellence, managing a warehouse team, implementing change and driving process improvement. Integral to the role is the management of integrated processes and constant flow of products to ensure we deliver and supply products and services to our customers and clients in the most cost effective manner and on time.

Tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate the end-to-end logistics for the brand both domestically and internationally
  • Execute the supply chain strategy for each retailer, distributor & all major projects with key internal stakeholders
  • Support the development, implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of the operational procurement process, tools and policies
  • Assist in the successful implementation of product sourcing and development as well as maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintain supplier relationships
  • Raise and manage purchase orders with manufacturers (create, change, cancel, close) in a timely manner to support the production plans globally and meet retailer and sales expectations
  • Order acknowledgement monitoring (Order confirmation, Advanced Ship Notice)
  • Quality control the production process
  • Sound knowledge of international freight mode including cost comparisons, dispatch dates, RFP’s, legal paperwork required for sea and air freight, customs compliance, duties & taxes
  • Tactical continuous improvement (data quality, MOQs, lot sizing)
  • Proactively monitor stock levels for global retailers and liaise with the Sales departments on best practice
  • Lead the warehouse operations, including stock-takes and daily despatch requirements are meeting retailer and sales expectations

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • Logistics & Supply Chain operations experience at management level
  • Proactive hands-on problem solver who will lead from the front and has a proven track record of improving efficiency across an organisation
  • Strong exposure and knowledge of international freight logistics as well as general distribution
  • A thorough understanding of product development and product lifecycle is advantageous
  • High computer literacy with strong understanding of stock management systems and MS Excel
  • GS1 / Global Standards exposure
  • Proactive attitude with an ability to influence and challenge as well as adapting quickly and managing priorities
  • Extensive experience managing a team of direct reports
