As the Digital Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for leading the global digital marketing strategy for the business with a focus on brand awareness. The role requires a proven track record in leading and evolving digital marketing, through innovative technology strategies, engaging content, financial acumen and implementing partnerships across operations, merchandising and marketing. You will develop and implement digital marketing strategies and brand campaigns that align with the customer demographic, ensuring the messaging is effective and successful across all global markets.

Tasks include but are not limited to:

Keep current with the latest digital trends and technology to drive innovation and stay ahead of competition

  • Perform appropriate competitive analyses, benchmarking and research to drive solid ROI analysis and recommendations
  • Define KPIs for omnichannel digital marketing campaigns across and ensure quarterly goals are met
  • Manage digital marketing P&L, including revenue and margin forecasting and expense budgeting
  • Develop, implement and maintain standard reports to provide in-depth pre and post campaign analysis and insights
  • Drive sales, profit and consumer experience metrics of www.modelcocostmetics.com driving execution of strategies, promotions, tactics and campaigns
  • Manage execution of all web analytics including content, site, traffic and marketing campaign analysis
  • Manage the growth of omnichannel strategies and execute plans ensuring appropriate infrastructure and consumer experience strategies are in place
  • Manage the seasonal content and merchandising calendars to ensure freshness, relevancy, consistency and appropriate balance of brand story-telling and commerce
  • Identify opportunities to drive customer engagement, profitability and growth
  • Drive performance across a variety of digital marketing campaigns including transactional, acquisition, onboarding, content promotion and reacquisition campaigns, constantly refining communication across the consumer lifecycles
  • Implement the digital marketing strategies to fulfil revenue and profit plans, changing consumer expectations and market conditions
  • Digital media planning and management (inclusive of display, mobile, SEM and media partnerships)
  • Support and enhance the customer journey of both brands across all touchpoints and help define content needs
  • Work in close partnership with Social Media & Content Strategist & Ecommerce marketing and sales team to improve the quality of landing pages and conversion rate optimisation, including briefing in agencies to help build content and run tests to improve conversion rates
  • Work with Social Media & Content Strategist to create innovative display and social ads and collaborate with the wider marketing team & retail team to ensure that online programs are aligned with retailer activity (omni-channel strategy)
  • Creating and strategizing new digital content including influencer content and how this lives across all business channels
  • Works to ensure all programme elements move forward on a timely basis with publishers, internal designers and media agencies (including briefs, asset deliveries, legal/claims approval, artwork proofing, QA testing)
  • Meet with media agencies to determine and define digital activity, schedule to support launches and ongoing initiatives. Ensures that all activity reflects the brand’s strategic priorities.
  • By using consumer insights and research, enhance the brand’s digital and CRM strategy and also analyse data collected via these strategies to further consumer knowledge of the brand
  • Manage the timely and successful execution of CRM initiatives from ongoing lifecycle programs (Birthday & XXX) to New Product launch programs to maximize Recruit, Retain, Reward opportunities
  • Roadmap digital developments and improvements

An exciting career opportunity exists for a highly organized and energetic INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER who has a proven track record of driving sales growth within the Asian markets. Key to this role will be, well established relationships with cosmetic buyers in FMCG and/or premium department stores. Prior experience in managing reputable cosmetic distributors will also be highly regarded. You must be a good business negotiator, have solid sales experience, be commercially savvy and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

You will be hands-on and responsible for driving business growth through existing retail channels and identify, establish and develop new distribution partnerships. You are a sales driver whose background covers national/major account negotiations. Your ability to utilize your negotiation skills to leverage all possible business opportunities’ will be a valued asset.

Determining the right product mix for your markets and providing on-the- ground support to accounts will be key to generating strong sales growth. You will have the ability to multi-task and allocate targeted marketing and promotional spend, manage the sell-through in retail channels and strategically plan and analysis your markets’ sales.

Due to significant growth we are seeking a passionate, experienced, and results driven PRODUCT DEVELOPER who has a passion for product development and an appreciation for beauty, market trends and innovation.

This instrumental role will see you use qualitative and quantitative data to source and produce innovative products for both Australian and international markets. The successful candidate must have current relationships with packaging and fill manufactures in the cosmetics, self-tan and skincare industry. You will be hands-on and responsible for the planning, forecasting and analysing of all categories.

TASKS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Identify, source and develop on brand product concepts for new product ranges
  • Manage all phases of formula development and new product innovation, in line with brand strategy
  • Research, source and recommend innovative products across all colour, tanning and skincare categories
  • Establish relationships with existing 3rd party laboratories to develop best-in-class formulas; responsible for lab briefs and communication with chemists
  • Introduce the business to a network of global beauty manufacturers and confidently negotiate cost of goods, through pre-existing relationships
  • Adhere to quality control standards, policies and procedure
  • Manage production, approvals and review batch submissions
  • Monitor and maintain on-time delivery of critical project milestones
  • Brief and collaborate with creative and operational teams on developing the most on-brand experience for each product launch
  • Ensure all product artwork and packaging adheres to manufacture and brand style guides, including global market compliancy
  • Ensure and analyse new product development is cost efficient and profitable
  • Create, manage and execute a Product Portfolio Strategy including gap assessments and pricing strategy
  • Manage new product financial planning and volume forecasting / P&L
  • Managing timelines, budgets and processes to gain alignment on multiple projects
  • Lead internal communication with cross-functional departments as it relates to product briefs, formula evaluation, copy and claims, artwork and regulatory deliverables
  • Leverage data, trends and support from internal teams to build a robust and actionable range plan to address knowledge gaps in consumer, brand, product, business and the marketplace
  • Lead product efficacy and consumer testing
  • Attend innovation tradeshows
  • Prepare, file and compile regulatory correspondence and applications
  • Liaise with local and international authorities to register and then monitor the registration of products throughout their lifecycle
  • Ensure product registrations are complete in-time for product launches

SUPPLY CHAIN & LOGISTICS SPECIALIST - ModelCo HQ, Sydney

Due to significant growth we are seeking a proactive, analytical and solutions-orientated Supply Chain & Logistics Specialist.

The primary role is to facilitate and support the overall business in supply chain, end to end logistics, stock ordering and day to day management and procurement plans for the brand. You will be accountable for delivering operational excellence and managing all order types and platforms.

Consistently driving improvement in collaborative planning, forecasting and the replenishment process, strong procurement expertise is required, to ensure the brand secures best value but most importantly minimises risk and maximises opportunities.

Tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate the end to end logistics for the brand both domestically and internationally
  • Execute the supply chain strategy for each retailer, distributor & all major projects
  • Review any significant changes in the forecast requirements compared to the prior month and provide advice on Demand vs. Supply
  • Support the development, implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of the Operational Procurement process, tools and policies
  • Assist in the successful implementation of Product Sourcing & Development and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Highlight supply planning process gaps and propose process improvements
  • Deliver supply and supplier solutions which support the business requirements
  • Maintain supplier relationships.
  • Coordinate purchase orders (create, change, cancel, close) in a timely manner to support the production plans globally. This includes expediting purchase orders to protect service and de-expediting to manage inventory
  • Past due / crisis purchase order management required. In times of product shortage, agree with business stakeholders on market allocation priorities and allocate available quantities to these markets for both launch and long-term retailer product lifecycle
  • Prioritise POs with manufacturers to meet retailer and sales expectations
  • Order acknowledgement monitoring (Order confirmation, Advanced Ship Notice)
  • Resolve supply issues and escalate to the business stakeholders those that cannot be resolved in a timely manner
  • Quality control the production process, including following up with suppliers on the replacement of rejected goods (if required)
  • Determine freight method mode including cost comparisons, dispatch dates, RFP’s, legal paperwork required for sea and air freight, customs compliance, duties & taxes
  • Tactical continuous improvement (data quality, MOQs, lot sizing)
  • Coordinate projects– to ensure all product projects are delivered on time and on budget
  • Analyse and provide advice to R&D, Retail and Marketing departments the right inventory mix to support seasonal gift activities/promotions (e.g. products featured in EDM’s, Mother’s Day, Valentine’s Day initiatives etc)
  • Analyse category/SKU performance and link to inventory needs (needs during high-traffic periods such as gift and holiday seasons)
  • Proactively monitor stock levels for global retailers (Amazon, Boots) and liaise with Sales departments on best practice
  • Assist in the warehouse operations, annual stock-take, daily dispatch progress & the small warehouse team
  • Ensure all warehouse inventory is accounted for accurately, at the right value and quantity

Ideally you will have:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience within a “best in class” supply chain organization
  • Experienced, results-driven and hands-on Demand Planning super-star who is comfortable operating in complex and diverse environments and has a proven track record of improving efficiency in an organization
  • Understanding of international freight logistics
  • Analytical and numerically strong. Makes fact-based decisions and prioritises accordingly
  • A thorough understanding of product development and product lifecycle is advantageous
  • Ability to develop insights that continuously improve forecasting and execution
  • Strong exposure and understanding of Distribution and Logistics, Commercial and Finance areas
  • High computer literacy with strong understanding of stock management systems
  • GS1 / Global Standards understanding
