Natalie Roser is one of the three faces of our brand-new #ModelCoTan summer 2015 campaign and no doubt one you will recognise from social media. Against the picturesque backdrop of Sydney’s iconic Bondi Beach, three of Australia’s biggest up-and-coming models, Elyse Knowles, Elouise Morris and Natalie Roser all sported our newest tanning innovation ONE HOUR TAN as photographer Josie Clough from It’s Now Cool captured the girls in their bronzed best and showing off their ModeCo tans to perfection.
Having been modelling since the tender age of 13 (where she was discovered at the Girlfriend Model Search Competition), Natalie has had a successful modelling career featuring in campaigns for David Jones, MYER and O’Neil and gracing the covers of Women’s Fitness, Sunday Magazine and Swimstyle to name a few.
Natalie is also arguably one of Australia’s most successful ‘Insta models’, having built her own profile via social media which now boasts an impressive 200K following on Instagram.
ModelCo sat down with the beautiful, bronzed Natalie to chat over all things summer beauty.
What are your tips for feeling comfortable in front of a camera?
Standing in front of the camera is always better when I am feeling healthy, my skin is clear and I am confident about my body. This means that I have to take care of my health, skin and fitness all year round. When you enjoy taking care of body and see the results it becomes less of a chore and can be inspiration to continue.
How would you define Australian summer beauty?
Natural, bare and bronzed.
What is your own go-to summer beauty regime?
My summer beauty regime is full of coconuts! Coconut oil, coconut cream, and coconut scented sun protection!
Three beauty essentials you can’t leave home without and why?
A hair elastic (which is often needed to tame the mane), a moisturising lip balm and a travel-sized hand moisturiser.
What is your signature hairstyle?
Loosely tossed beach waves.
Are there any skin or wellness rituals that you swear by?
Taking on an Alkaline cleanse diet every so often, usually for a week or two, really helps me reset my system. It’s great to reduce bloating, refresh my skin and hair, and makes me feel energised and healthy.
When you’re not working, how do you like to unwind?
My partner and I spend a lot of time eating out at restaurants and going to the movies. Our perfect relaxing night involves food and a good film.
What is your day-to-day beauty philosophy?
Beauty should be simple and fresh.
Can you share any insider tips that you have picked up from makeup artists after all these hours spent sitting in the makeup chair?

What products are always in your makeup kit?
My makeup kit is huge. I like to try new products so it’s rare that I get through an entire product before it is hygenic to throw it out! My staples are always a concealer, a lightweight foundation, mascara, brow gel and lip balm.
Who is your beauty icon and why?
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. Because of her face. It’s always perfect.
